The best bands are made up of great, individual performers. Uphill Slide has its share of very talented people. Uphill Slide band members work hard to put on the best show possable for your event.
Uphill Slide is fronted by the very talented Meagan Shelton Our set list consists of some of those classic rock songs, reserved for a powerful female lead. Not only is Meagan a fantastic performer with an amazing voice, she keeps the crowd truly entertained with the talents of a stand up comic. Meagan has preformed in band both locally and during her college days.
	James Ingram plays bass guitar and covers vocals for Uphill Slide. James has played electric bass in Dallas and surrounding areas since he was 16 years old. He has backed many professional performers over the years. James says "bass is my first love. It is all I ever wanted to play and it is what I enjoy doing." James in also a very rusty grade 4 Highland piper.
John Allnutt has received significant recognition as a performer, educator, and private instructor. He has toured extensively through North America, and also Europe and Asia. He graduated from the University of Kentucky where he studied with professor Jim Campbell, a well known arranger/program coordinator for the Rosemont Cavaliers. John was a member of UK’s percussion ensemble who won the prestigious Percussive Arts Society Collegiate Percussion Ensemble Contest three times. He also was a member of the Rosemont Cavaliers snare line for three years where he won DCI championships twice under corps director Jeff Fiedler. John also has performed and attended at the Leigh Howard Stevens marimba seminar, KoSA International Percussion Workshop, and instructed for the Bands of America Summer Symposium. Currently, he is an educator and private lesson instructor in Allen, Texas.
	Ian Ingram plays lead guitar. He is the youngest member of Uphill Slide but makes up for his age with a guitar style that comes straight from the heart. His attention to tone and his drive for perfection are reminiscent of an artist many times his age. Ian's influences are Jimi Hendrix, Steve Ray Vaughan and Eric Johnson to name a few.
