Dodies Tuesday Night Blues Jam in Frisco, Texas
Three of the members of Uphill Slide sat in the Dodies Cajun Grill for their Tuesday night blues jam. We had the opportunity to rub elbows with a bunch of great musicians and have a few laughs. We also got to hear some really great blues. While we were there we set up and belted out Burning Love, Come Together and Led Zeppelin's Rock n Roll with the help of Meagan Shelton. Thanks Meagan, we had a blast!

The Hatch and Kravens Slaughterhouse
Sunday, October 25, 2009 Uphill Slide performed at The Hatch and Kravens Slaughterhouse. It was a fantastic gig except for the weather. It started to rain a bit as we were loading out but since the stage was covered we finished our set up with no problems. We started our first set at 8:00 P.M. , played for an hour and then took a short break. We were just getting into our second set when we were warned of heavy weather rolling in. The members of Uphill Slide took the hint and packed our gear in a hurry. It was a good thing we did because high winds, heavy rain and lots of lightning moved in with a vengeance. In spite of it all we had a great time. The management and actors at the Hatch and Kravens Slaughterhouse are nothing but fun. Our advice is to check it out. They make scaring you out of your wits a roaring good time. The Hatch and Kravens Slaughterhouse is located at 1400 W. Taylor Street in Sherman, Texas.

Once again Uphill Slide performed at Pitchers Sports Bar in Arlington, October 22 2009. It was a really fun night with lots of people dropping by to listen and have a beer or two. The band even took a break for some much needed refreshment. Pitchers Sports Bar is located at 2604 West Division St., Arlington, Texas.

For those of you who were there you know what a great time was had by all. If you weren't there you missed not only some great tunes by Uphill Slide but a motorcycle calendar photo shoot complete with hot bikes and even hotter girls.

The Connection
Uphill Slide performed at "The Connection" September 12 2009. The Connection is located at 3137 Alta Mere Drive, Fort Worth, Texas. We had a great time great time and we wanted to thank everyone for coming out and we wanted to thank The Connection for hosting live music in Fort Worth, TX.

Maxim Honda in Allen, Texas
Once again Uphill Slide provided live rock and roll entertainment at Maxim Honda for their Memorial Day event. As always we had a great time and Maxim Honda is a great place to play rock and roll was well as a great place to find that perfect motorcycle. Maxim Honda is located just South of McDermott on Central Expressway in Allen, Texas.

Uphill Slide provided the music for Maxim Honda's March Madness event March 7th 2009. This event kicks off the warm weather riding season with fun, food, drinks, bikes, contests and great music by Uphill Slide. We had a great time performing. We met a lot of great people and received a number of compliments on our classic rock play set. We look forward to playing for Maxim Honda in the future.
